ARTIST NOTES: Sitting down on the beach watching seagulls wheeling around in the setting sun reminded me of a ballet with ballerinas dancing pirouettes. My painting is to give a contemporary impression of three seagulls spinning around each other against a golden tinged aquatic background performing a Pas-de-Trois.
