Caroline Kraus is an Adelaide based emerging artist currently studying a Bachelor of Visual Arts in painting at the School of Art, Architecture and Design at UniSA working predominantly in acrylic, pastel and textile objects.
Her creative experiences and work span fashion design, cosmetic formulation and image design. She creates pastel, acrylic and mixed media artwork and enjoys the tactile nature of using her hands to work with her materials so that the textures become part of the expression.
Caroline also paints directly onto textiles or digitally prints images from her paintings onto the fabric and these are crafted into useable items of beauty. Her work predominantly features people and still life. Commissions welcome.
