ARTIST NOTES: I was watching one of an endless variety of sunsets & felt it was like a counterpoint piece of music with the melodies in conjunction with each other. As the melodies intertwined so did the colours of the sunset with yellows, reds, pinks & dark shadows. Rather than paint a classical picture I have done a contemporary one of colour to try & express the tones of changing colour at a point of time similar to the tones of sound in counterpoint.
